We love our community and we love our entrepreneurs. It takes time, money, energy and loads of commitment to start a business – especially in a downtown area in the midst of revitalization.

Here’s How it Works: We pick one day and commit to spending a minimum of $20 – in cash – at the business of choice and we invite our friends to do the same.

Why Cash? Because there are no service charges and fees associated – it all goes right to the business.
Why a Cash Mob? Small business life is tough! Sometimes we need a quick influx of cash to turnover inventory or make a purchase of new software. Sure, loans are possible but they have interest rates, and paperwork… and cost money! This is a way to give a great business a little edge and show community support at the same time.

Rules:

1) You don’t have to wait until the day of the cash mob to shop there – have an immediate need? Head on over there already!

2) You are absolutely allowed to spend more than $20! Even though we prefer $20 to be the minimum to maximize impact, you can buy every item in the store if you want.

3) While you are there you might as well give ’em some love – let them know what all of their hard work means to you.

4) Extra points for you if you introduce a friend to the store – new people in can mean great long term results!

5) Double your impact by shopping or dining at another downtown business while you are in the area!
