Las Cruces, NM – Across the street from the Plaza de Las Cruces, Little Toad Creek Brewery has a front-row seat to the life and goings-on of downtown. Originally laying down its roots in Lake Roberts, then migrating over to downtown Silver City, Las Cruces is their second location and taproom. In collaboration with us here at the Downtown Las Cruces Partnership, Taproom Manager Carol Ayon shares with us about Little Toad.
New Mexican to the Core
As first and foremost a brewery, Little Toad is most well known for their core beers like Grumpy Old Troll and Hop-A-Long Pale Ale. Proud of their local area, the Hop-A-Long Ale is brewed with a New Mexican hop found along the Gila. Their Silver Agave also provides a fun New Mexico twist on tequila. You can even work alongside one of their bartenders and create a new cocktail through their competition, Armchair Mixologist!
You also won’t want to miss the grub that Little Toad has to offer. Their sandwich rolls are baked locally by Kind Bread Co. Be sure to ask for a side of their spicy peanut slaw too. Get ready for the week by chowing down on their Sunday brunch!
Bringing the Community Together
More than just a place to grab a beer, Little Toad offers a myriad of opportunities to connect with your local community. From local musicians to Modern English, Little Toad provides a weekly live music experience you’ll never forget! Not a professional, but still love a good tune? Sing your heart out at Karaoke nights on Thursday. But these Little Toad’s events go beyond all things musical. Join Wet Paint Art Studio for one of their paint & sips to get in touch with your artsy side!
Little Toad is a place for everyone, including our LGBTQ+ community. That’s why every second Saturday of the month, they host a drag show for a night full of performers, amazing food, and all the great downtown vibes!
