Downtown Blues Coffee

Downtown Blues Coffee logo

I have decided to open as a brewed coffee/small pastry & co-work space with the bluesy atmosphere, including live blues jam sessions. While still working on the capital to get the full build outdone, we will be working hard behind the scenes to become the full-fledged coffee, tea, espresso & pastry bar created for us on blueprint. We hope you can join us for some delicious New Orleans Cafe Du Monde coffee and a pastry, brought in fresh daily from Lujans Bakery. We’ll be open from 8 AM-8 PM Tuesday-Saturday. The Downtown Blues Coffee shop will be a place to work, study, collaborate and listen to blues music, with high-speed Wi-Fi. For now, we’ll offer coffee, pastries, soft drinks, and other prepackaged snacks. We will be a prime location to take the Roadrunner bus or an Uber to & from our spot. If you are driving, we have plenty of FREE parking, especially in the back facing Water Street.

There are bicycle racks right in front of the coffee shop. Also, need a bicycle lock or low on air? No problem, we’ll lend you an air pump or bike lock while you hang out. The Downtown Blues Coffee shop will also offer pre-paid guaranteed co-work space for $25 for 6 hours, or $99 for 40 hours a month. This includes bottomless coffee and 1 pastry per visit. We will offer a podcast station, complete with professional microphones, multitrack recorder to record an audio podcast & take the file with you. This option will cost $75 for a two-hour block. This includes bottomless coffee and one pastry for two people. The third offering is a small print, copy & fax area. We will also offer 4×6 high-quality photo prints and photo restoration with optional hand-painted frames done by the owners’ children. Small laminating jobs will also be available.

There will also be a small retail section with one of a kind antique clothing, jewelry records, sunglasses, and other paramount rare finds. We will host the beautiful henna art of PB Henna a couple of days a week. There is an audio station with quality AKG headphones to listen to your own CD’s or test out the vinyl before purchasing.
