The Living Dead Return: Las Cruces Zombie Walk Takes Over Downtown October 25

The living dead crawl, limp, and growl their way back into Downtown Las Cruces this fall! On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Las Cruces Zombie Walk returns to Main Street for an evening of frightful fun, family-friendly entertainment, and community spirit that just won’t stay buried.

This annual event is a Las Cruces favorite. It’s not just another Halloween event. It’s where creativity, costumes, and creepy fun collide in a celebration that’s creepy and crawly. Whether you show up decked out in zombie makeup or just come to witness the spectacle, you’re in for an unforgettable night downtown.

  • Event Begins: 6:00 PM
  • Zombie Walk Parade: 7:00 PM

As the sun sets over the Organ Mountains, Main Street will come alive (or undead)! Join the fun with live music, local craft vendors, games, and of course—a parade of Zombies slowly staggering down the street in true undead fashion.

What to Expect

From spine-chilling face paint to blood-curdling groans, participants will go all out to embody their inner zombie. Expect everything from hilarious zombie families to elaborately costumed creatures straight out of your favorite horror films. Did we mention there will be a zombie judging competition?

Local artists and vendors will line the streets with eerie crafts, while live bands and DJs keep the undead dancing. Kids and adults alike will to join in—after all, who says the apocalypse can’t be a family affair?

Be Part of the Fun

Participation is free, and we encourage everyone to come dressed as a zombie or enjoy the carnival of the undead. Whether you’re a longtime zombie aficionado or just visiting, the Zombie Walk is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season. Experience the creativity, energy, and community spirit that make Downtown Las Cruces come alive every year.
