Yvonne Silva

Yvonne Silva is a proud native New Mexican, born and raised in Dona Ana County. Her career at El Paso Electric began in 2014 and she is currently the Supervisor of Customer Care in which she oversees a team of 22 from her office in downtown Las Cruces.

She joined the Downtown Las Cruces Partnership Board of Directors in January 2019 with a mission to participate in the downtown revitalization that is taking shape. Yvonne recognizes the endless possibilities and potential of making downtown Las Cruces the heart of this city. She sees a place for people to come together to appreciate the area’s historical and artistic cultures as well, as to socialize in and support local businesses.

Yvonne previously worked in the banking industry for 20 years where she developed and flourished an understanding of customer and community needs. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
