Q: How can I become a vendor at the Las Cruces Farmer’s and Crafts Market?
A: The Farmer’s and Crafts Market is an independently run organization. DLCP does not select vendors or manage the market. For information about the Market, visit their website at http://www.fcmlc.org/.
Q: I would like to hold an event downtown, what do I need to do?
A: Please contact the City of Las Cruces Community Development Department to check on space availability and to fill out permits. Armando Morales is the main point of contact and can be reached at amorales@las-cruces.org.
Q: How can I open a business downtown?
A: Please view our page “Doing Business Downtown” for steps and best practices for opening a business in Downtown Las Cruces.
Q: I am a business/building owner downtown and I am concerned about upcoming construction. How do I get updates and/or provide input.
A: DLCP hosts downtown business breakfasts each month. These are great opportunities to come together and have these discussions. We recommend you join our mailing list to stay up to date on the locations of these meetings. If you can’t wait until the next meeting, DLCP staff can be reached at any time by calling the offices at 575-525-1955. We will be happy to meet with you and discuss solution-centered approaches to dealing with construction and downtown progress. Our Facebook page and the Heart of Las Cruces app also provide frequent updates.
